Before You Start
Install the Lango Add-On
Go to the Atlassian Marketplace and install the Lango add-on.
Connect a Translation Provider (optional)
To enable the automatic translations feature, ensure Lango is connected with at least one translation provider (admin permission is required).

Set the page language
Open Navigate to the Confluence page or blog post you want wish to translate and click on the Translations link under the page title to open the Lango Switcher. You can access the Lango Switcher within any Confluence page or blog post.

Translating a Page

When you add a translation, Lango will create creates a new page and a link between links the original content and with the translation. Links These links allow users to easily navigate between available languages and enable editors to monitor and manage translations effectively.
Select Translate with a provider from the available operations to Initiate a Translation.

Set a custom destination (Optional)
By default, translations will be are created as a sub-page pages of the source content. You can change the destination by selecting a different space and a parent page for the new translation.

Known Limitations

Lango only translates textual content. Any images, videos or other attachments will be copied to the destination page "as is". If you need to localise them, you can replace attachments by editing the translations, as you would with any other Confluence page.
Textual content Only: Lango translates only text. Images, videos, and other attachments are copied “as is” and need manual localization.
Third-Party Macros: Lango cannot translate third-party macros and , which will be copied to the destination page "as is". This is a know limitation “as is” due to technical and security restrictions made by Atlassian to marketplace apps that we cannot circumvent.

Settings
If you 're having trouble, try to encounter issues, you can reset the translation settings by clicking on the reset button. The reset will delete all the page's multilingual settings and links to translations. The procedure will not delete any content.
